Lincoln

Renowned for its cathedral which dates back to the late 12th century and its castle. The city itself has plenty to offer either the culturalist or the person who just wants to shop in either the old areas or the main city centre.

Woodhall Spa

Known for a wide variety of reasons. This picturesque village is renowned for the two golf courses played-on by the famous, the Kinema in the woods which hosts on of the first back-projection cinema screens in the country and the Petwood Hotel which was home to the Dambusters 617 Squadron Officers Mess during the Second World War.

Tattershall / Tattershall Thorpe

Tattershall is an attractive village dominated by it's castle. Tattershall Castle,built by the 3rd lord Cromwell and restored in this century, is a magnificent medieval red brick tower, and a landmark of the fens, which can be seen for miles around. this 14th century fortified house, now in the care of the national trust, is a splendid example of a medieval brick building.

In nearby Tattershall Thorpe The Thorpe Camp Preservation Group has set up a visitor Centre to commemorate those who fought for freedom in the World War ll. Thorp Camp was attached to the airfield at Woodhall Spa where 97,617 (Dambusters),619 & 627 Squadrons were based. The Centre boasts an impressive range of artifacts, displays and comprehensive information on major operations undertaken by these Squadrons.

Horncasle

This is one of Lincolnshire's first market towns. It hosts a market which sells everything on Thursday and Saturday as well as one of the largest collections of antiques shops and dealers in the area. Well worth a visit whether to shop or just for a gentle stroll around. There are plenty of tea rooms and places to eat if you want to make a full day of it.

Skegness And Ingoldmells

The home of Billy Butlin's first holiday park for the family. There is plenty to do in this area: from a roam along the beach to playing in all of the amusement arcades along the sea front, shows at the Embassy Centre, evening entertainment, clubs and discos.

Mablethorpe and Sutton-On-Sea

If it is sea and sand you want then Mablethorpe with all its attractions,funfair and wide sandy beaches is within easy reach. The area also boasts a well established Animal and Bird Garden and Seal Sanctuary.
